Beverages company Coca-Cola has introduced an apple flavoured variant, Fanta Apple, sporting a communication tagline of ‘Go Bite’ for Indian consumers. The company has roped in the bubbly newcomer Genelia D’Souza as the brand ambassador. The entire brand campaign has been developed and executed by Ogilvy & Mather, Delhi.
A television commercial featuring Genelia has also been shot which will go on air soon.
The TVC shows Genelia D’souza enjoying an evening at a party. However, her enjoyment is short-lived as she gets perturbed by an aunty who rushes up to her with yet another suitable match. Genelia gets irritated and wants to get rid of the aunty. That’s when the host of the party offers her Fanta Apple. After the drinking Fanta Genelia plays a prank on the aunty and finally the Aunty runs away. At the end Genelia says ‘Go bite’.
Not to mention, with just one film to her credit, Genelia is really going places!
